Importing your first assignment into CoGrader is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:
Log in to your CoGrader account.
Click + Grade new in the left sidebar, or Essays under Grade essays & quizzes on the dashboard.
In the Grade new assignment window, click Create manually, or pick your platform under or import from LMS.
New to CoGrader? If you chose your school platform when you signed up, your dashboard also shows a button to import from it (for example Import from Schoology).

Not using an LMS, or your platform isn't listed? Upload files yourself:
You can also create a class first with Add class on the Classes page, but a class created this way can't be connected to an LMS later. If you want to send feedback back to your LMS, import from it instead.
Quick Tip
If you're testing CoGrader for the first time, consider importing a previously graded assignment. This allows you to compare CoGrader's suggestions with your original grades, helping you understand how the tool works.
