Upgrading to Tier 3: Increasing Your Limits

Upgrading to Tier 3 is a quick way to unlock higher transaction limits on Coinstash. This level is perfect for investors who want more flexibility with their deposits and withdrawals.

Updated over 2 months ago

Tier 3 Benefits

  • AUD Limits: Increases your daily deposit and withdrawal limit to $100,000.

  • Crypto Limits: Increases your daily crypto withdrawal limit to $100,000.

  • Unlimited Crypto Deposits: As always, there are no limits on bringing your digital assets onto the platform.

Requirements for Upgrading

To be eligible for Tier 3, your account must already be Tier 2 verified.

The main requirement for Tier 3 is providing Proof of Address. This helps us maintain our Trust and Compliance standards and ensures we are meeting Australian regulatory requirements.

Step-by-Step Upgrade Process

  1. Open Your Settings:

    • Desktop: Click your Profile Name (top right) > Settings.

    • Mobile App: Tap your Profile Image (top right) > My Account > Edit.

  2. Unlock Tier 3: Locate the "Unlock Tier 3" panel and click the Upgrade button.

  3. Upload Your Document: You will need to upload a clear digital copy (photo or PDF) of a document that proves your current residential address.

    • Accepted Documents: Utility bills (electricity/gas), bank statements, or phone bills.

    • Requirement: The document must clearly show your full name and address, and it must be dated within the last 3 months.

  4. Review: Once uploaded, our Brisbane-based onboarding team will review your document.

  5. Activation: We aim to process all Tier 3 requests within two business days. You’ll receive a notification as soon as your new limits are active!

Tips for a Fast Approval

  • Ensure the document is not a "PO Box"—it must show a physical residential address.

  • Make sure all four corners of the document are visible in your photo.

  • Double-check that the name on the document matches the name on your Coinstash account exactly.
