Conversion campaigns allow you to grow your business by paying only for actual, trackable outcomes driven by Earners.

Whether you want more website traffic, more form submissions, more booked appointments, or more sales, conversion campaigns give you a performance-based way to scale—where you set the price per result and control your monthly budget.

This article walks you through every step of launching a conversion campaign, from required setup to inviting Earners and monitoring performance.

Before You Begin: Conversion Tracking Must Be Set Up

A conversion campaign cannot run until your tracking is properly installed.
This is a required step.

To track clicks, leads, appointments, or sales, comarketing uses a tracking script and conversion pages configured inside your account. Without this setup:

  • Earners will receive your invite, but no conversions will track

  • You cannot define your conversion objectives

  • No payouts can be triggered

  • The campaign cannot function as intended

If you haven’t completed tracking setup yet, do this first:

👉 Set up conversion tracking (required before launching your campaign)

Once your tracking script is verified and your conversion pages are added, you’re ready to build your campaign.

Creating Your Conversion Campaign

Once your script is verified, you can start a Campaign. Head to the Campaigns tab and select Start Campaign.

Campaign Tip:

Conversion campaigns pay your partner for every click they generate using their unique link. By default, a “conversion” means the link was clicked and the user landed on your verified site.

If you’d like to track additional actions—like an appointment booking—you’ll need to select Conversion Pages and Conversion Types.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Campaigns tab & start a new campaign

  2. Enter your partner’s details
Fill in their name and email, and choose which verified site they’ll be promoting. **If your site does not appear, return to Step 1.**

  3. Select your fee split
Choose how the earnings will be split between you and your partner.

    1. We recommend that you, the Comarketer, cover the payout when inviting a new partner.

  4. Set your pricing
Choose your price per conversion and set a monthly partner budget to cap spending.

  5. Choose one of the conversion objectives you set up earlier.

    • This defines what counts as a conversion (e.g., lead, appointment)

    • The corresponding page/path will autofill based on your setup.

  6. Send your campaign invitation

  7. Wait for acceptance
Your campaign will show as pending until your partner accepts the invite. They can search for an email from notifications@comarketing.com

Once the campaign is live and accepted, conversions will begin tracking automatically.

What your partners will see

Your partners will receive an email similar to the one below.

By clicking "accept agreement", they will be prompted to create their comarketing account. Once created, they'll receive and email with their unique link to promote your site.

What’s Next?

Once your partner accepts the invitation, their unique link will go live—and tracking begins automatically.

You’ll only be charged when someone clicks through your partner’s link, never just for sending it.

To keep things fair, your partner’s own clicks won’t count—their IP is automatically excluded from tracking.

You can monitor clicks, conversions, and performance right from your dashboard, making it easy to run results-driven campaigns that pay for actual outcomes.
