Summary
Legacy projects should be used for projects you already completed preconstruction for. These can be used as a historical database in the Calibrate solution, or in Concept Hub. Start by clicking the dropdown under legacy project, and choose multiple projects.
Then upload the estimate files for the projects you want to upload. These files should include a series of line items, each with its corresponding classification, description, component, quantity, and cost.
For a project to be created, you should fill out all required details. The project name is pulled from the name of the uploaded file. Remember you always need a milestone to upload an estimate, and you can simply add its name here to create it. The budget is also obtained from the total cost in the uploaded file. You should also include the contract type, category, and address. When you fill out all these details, the project can be saved as a draft.
For the project to be published, you should properly map the estimate by going to the Manage window and addressing any missing format or component issues.
Once done with the first project, proceed to the next project and fill all the required details and address any estimate mapping issues. If you include more projects in the bulk upload process, you would go project by project filling out the details.
Once done inputting all the required details and mapping estimates, Save Mapping, and you will see that the project is Ready to publish.
Click Create Projects, and this will create all the projects you uploaded here in just one click.
These projects will be available in the projects list. If at any point you started the bulk upload process, but moved away from the page, you will see a Resume import button on the Projects page which will take you back to the import wizard to complete the required steps.
