Document Sources represent the various methods in which documents can be sent and received into your organization. Common sources today include mail, fax, etc. As a patient document exchange platform, the system is designed to accommodate and optimize sending and receiving from many different document sources through a standardized process.

As part of your instance setup, you will need to configure your Document Sources. The current version includes fax and addresses (which also function as Direct addresses) as available Document Sources. You will be alerted as other Document Sources are added and become available to users in the near future.

Example of Document Sources section of Settings.
