✍️ Creating Content

Overview

Once you’ve created a Project and uploaded your sermon files, you’re ready to start creating content. Content Studio gives you two powerful ways to do this: Actions and Chat.

  • Actions are pre-created tools that help you quickly generate specific types of content with one click.

  • Chat gives you a conversational space to ask questions about your sermon, generate custom materials, and explore creative ideas beyond the prebuilt templates.

Whether you want to generate social clips, devotionals, or fresh teaching materials, you’ll find both flexibility and efficiency in the ways you can create content inside your Projects.

⚡ Actions

Actions make it easy to generate new content instantly — no configuration required.

You can find Actions in the left panel of your Project Workspace. At the top of this panel, you’ll see a switcher that lets you toggle between Actions and Chat modes.

When you’re in Actions mode, simply click on an Action to begin generating content. Content Studio will automatically process your sermon files and create the materials for you.

Some examples of Actions include:

  • Generate Clips – Creates short, shareable video or social clips from your sermon.

  • 5-Day Devotional – Builds a week-long devotional series from your message.

  • Group Leader Guide – Generates a discussion guide for small group leaders.

Each Action will create a new item in your Generated Content panel (on the right side of your workspace), where you can review, edit, or publish it.

💡 Tip: You can run multiple Actions at once using multi-select. This is a great way to generate several types of content at the same time — saving you valuable prep time each week.

💬 Chat

Chat is where creativity meets flexibility. It allows you to have a natural conversation with AI, ask questions about your sermon, and create custom content that goes beyond the predefined templates.

To switch to Chat, use the switcher at the top of the left panel and select Chat. You’ll see a familiar chat interface where you can type messages, ask for ideas, or request specific types of content.

You might use Chat to:

  • Brainstorm sermon titles or taglines

  • Draft a blog post or email recap based on your message

  • Generate quotes

  • Ask questions about your uploaded sermon files (“Summarize the main point of this sermon,” or “What’s a good small group question from this section?”)

After the AI responds, you’ll see several buttons below its message — one of them is Create Page. Clicking this button will turn the AI’s response into a new piece of content, which will appear in your Generated Content panel on the right side of the workspace.

🕓 Chat History

Every Project has its own Chat History, which means your conversations stay organized and relevant to the sermon files within that Project.

To access your Chat History, click the clock icon at the top of the Chat Input area (bottom of the Chat panel). From there, you can browse and reopen previous conversations to pick up where you left off.

💡 Tip: Chat History makes it easy to revisit previous ideas, reuse helpful responses, or continue building on a past conversation.

💡 Chat Prompt Library

The Prompt Library is your collection of ready-made and reusable prompts — a great way to speed up your creative process.

You can access the Prompt Library from within Chat. It includes two types of prompts:

  • Gloo Prompts – Prewritten prompts provided by Gloo to help you get started quickly.

  • Custom Prompts – Prompts you create and save yourself for reuse later. (Available for Plus and Pro tiers)

To save a new prompt:

  1. In your Chat conversation, click the Save Prompt button below your message.

  2. Give your prompt a name and click Save.

  3. Your new prompt will now appear in your Prompt Library.

You can also create or edit prompts directly within the Prompt Library dialog. When you find one you’d like to use, click Use Prompt — it will automatically be sent into the Chat as a new message.

💡 Tip: Save your favorite prompt templates for weekly tasks, like “Create a devotional outline from my sermon” or “Generate five social captions from key quotes.”

In Summary

Creating content in Content Studio is fast, flexible, and designed to fit the way you work.

  • Actions let you generate prebuilt content instantly.

  • Chat lets you explore new ideas, create custom materials, and save prompts for future use.

Together, they make it easy to turn your sermons into powerful, reusable content that serves your church all week long.
