⚙️ Settings & Permissions

Overview

The Settings area of Content Studio is where you manage your personal account, your organization’s information, and team access — all in one place.

Settings are divided into five main sections:

  1. Profile

  2. Organization

  3. Subscription

  4. Team Members

  5. Domains

You can access Settings from the sidebar navigation inside Content Studio. If you have a subscription for Content Studio AND Gloo Workspace, these account settings are managed separately. Check out this article for more information!

Content Studio Terminology Summary

Account

An Account represents an individual user. It’s tied to a person’s email, identity, and personal settings. Every user signs in with their Account.

Organization

An Organization represents the church or ministry entity the user belongs to. It contains the church’s details, team members, permissions, and shared content.

How they relate

During onboarding, a user first creates their Account, and then either creates or joins an Organization. A single Account can belong to multiple Organizations.

👤 Profile

Your Profile section is where you can manage your personal information within Content Studio (your “Account”). You can update:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Password

  • Avatar (profile photo)

All users can edit their own Profile information at any time.

⚙️ Note: You may be asked to verify your email address after changing it.

🏛️ Organization

The Organization section allows Admins to manage their church or organization’s information. Multiple Admins can exist within an Organization, but only one user is designated as the Owner.

From here, Admins can:

  • Edit the Organization Name

  • Update the Organization Logo

  • Adjust Preferences such as Speaker Reference, Denomination, Statement of Faith, and Mission Statement

Preferences are optional, but they help the Content Studio AI better understand your church’s unique voice and beliefs — ensuring the generated content aligns more closely with your congregation’s context.

💳 Subscription

This section is where the Organization Owner will manage the Content Studio subscription and billing settings.

For more billing management options click Manage Account to change billing card information or to change your subscription details.

To Cancel your subscription you can click on Cancel Subscription in Subscription settings.

👥 Team Members

The Team Members section is where Admins manage who has access to Content Studio and what level of permissions they have.

Admins can:

  • Invite new users by entering their email address and selecting their role (Owner, Admin, or Member)

  • Remove users from the Organization

  • Edit an existing user’s role at any time

When a new user is invited, they’ll receive an email invitation with a registration link to join the Organization.

💡 Roles Overview

  • Owner – Has full permissions, including subscription management and the ability to delete the Organization

  • Admin – Can manage Organization info, invite/remove users, and edit roles and permissions

  • Member – Can access Content Studio, create Projects, and generate content

⚠️ Note: For Gloo Workspace Orgs, team members do NOT carry over into Content Studio. More info in this article.

🌐 Domains

The Domains section allows Admins to manage the Organization’s Custom Domains — used when publishing content like Pages. Custom Domains are available as an optional Add-on benefit for members of the Pro plan.

From here, Admins can:

  • Add new domains (by entering the domain name manually)

  • Verify domains through a DNS verification process

  • Delete existing domains

  • Change the Default Domain, which determines which domain is used automatically for all newly published Pages

⚠️ Note: Changing your Default Domain does not retroactively update links for Pages that are already published. Only new published content will use the updated default domain.

If you’d like to learn more about how Custom Domains affect published content, see the Publishing Your Content article.

💡 In Summary

Your Settings allow you to personalize your experience, manage your organization, and collaborate effectively as a team.

  • Keep your Profile up to date.

  • Use Organization Preferences to help AI generate more personalized content.

  • Manage your Team Members and Domains with confidence.

Together, these settings ensure that your Content Studio environment reflects your team’s identity and supports your ministry’s goals.
