USPS is an effecive Carrier Account for managing shipping within Corksy. Integrating USPS ensures shipping rates appear during order placement, facilitating smooth transactions. Follow these steps to connect your USPS account.
Establishing a connection between USPS and Corksy
Access Carrier Accounts:
In Corksy, navigate to Admin Settings > Shipping and Delivery > Carrier Accounts.
Find USPS in the list and click the Connect Account button.
Connect USPS:
Click Connect Account for USPS.
A popup will appear requesting the Username.
Enter your USPS username and click Save.
Your USPS account will be successfully connected to Corksy, enabling shipping rate visibility during order processing.
Configuring shipping rates with USPS
Manage Rates:
Navigate to Shipping and Delivery β Manage Rates.
The page will show a list of all products and the shipping-from location.
Adding Shipping Zones:
Click the Create Shipping Zone button.
Enter the Zone Name and select the applicable states.
Click Save to create the zone.
Setting Up Shipping Rates:
Option 1: Set Up Your Own Rates
Click Add Rates and select shipping speed.
Enter the Price and conditions (weight or order price) if needed.
Click Save.
Option 2: Use Carrier to Calculate Rates
Click Add Rates and select USPS.
Choose the service, enter handling fee details, and click Save.
