How Tracking Numbers Work in Corksy

Creating and Applying a Tracking Number

  1. From your Corksy admin portal, go to the Orders tab

  2. Locate the unfulfilled shipping order

  3. Click Actions or the pencil icon to open the order

  4. To manually enter tracking:

    • Click Fulfill Item

    • Enter the Tracking Number and Shipping Carrier

    • Click Fulfill


Creating a Shipping Label with Carrier Integration

  1. From the open order, click Create Carrier Postage Directly

  2. Select the Package Type (this will calculate total weight including packaging)

  3. Select your preferred Shipping Carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, or GLS)

  4. Choose the:

    • Shipping Service

    • Ship Date

    • Label Size

    • Image Format

  5. Click Buy and Print Shipping Label

Once purchased, tracking details will automatically be added to the order


Printing a Shipping Label

  1. After purchasing a label, select the three dots (⋯) on the order

  2. Click Print Shipping Label


Tracking Number in Customer Notifications

When the order is fulfilled using either method, an automated Order Fulfilled notification is sent to the customer, including tracking details.

  • If tracking was manually entered via Fulfill Item, the notification Order fulfilled via external postage will be sent which automatically includes the entered tracking info.

  • If a shipping label was created via Create Carrier Postage Directly, the notification Order fulfilled via direct carrier postage will be sent which automatically includes the entered tracking info.

To edit these notifications visit the Corksy admin portal → Settings → Notifications → Click on the name of the notification → Edit → Save.


How a customer can view tracking information on your website

Customers can view tracking information on your website:

  1. Click the Account Icon → Sign into their account

  2. Go to the Orders tab

  3. Select Track Package next to the relevant order


Replacing or Updating a Tracking Number

To create a new tracking number or re-purchase a shipping label:

  1. Go to the Orders tab within the Corksy admin portal and open the fulfilled order

  2. Click Actions → Mark as Unfulfilled Without Notification

  3. Once unfulfilled, follow the steps to either:

    • Enter a new tracking number manually via Fulfill Item, or

    • Create a new label via Create Carrier Postage Directly
