Managing Inventory

Adding Inventory by Sales Channel

  1. Navigate to the Products section and click on the product you want to manage.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the product page.

  3. Find the Inventory by SKU section.

  4. Enter the total inventory available across all your sales channels (POS, online store, wine club, etc.).

Set Up Multiple Locations

  1. If you sell products from multiple locations (e.g., a warehouse, tasting room A, and tasting room B), follow these steps to assign inventory

  2. Go to the Settings page.

  3. Click on Locations.

  4. Add the different locations where your wine may be sold or shipped from.

  5. Save your changes.

View Inventory by Location

  1. In the product edit screen, go to the Inventory tab.

  2. You’ll see a detailed breakdown of your inventory by SKU (e.g., 1-liter and 750ml bottles).

  3. Here, you can view total inventory available across all channels.

Adjust Inventory by Location

  1. In the product edit screen, go to the Inventory tab.

  2. Click Add Inventory to make changes.

  3. To increase inventory for a location (e.g., tasting room), enter the new stock quantity (e.g., change from 200 to 300).

  4. To decrease inventory (e.g., for samples), subtract the appropriate number of items.

  5. Your inventory will update immediately across all channels.

Set Up Locations for Inventory Tracking

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu.

  2. Click on Locations.

  3. Enable the locations where you sell your products (e.g., tasting room, online store).

  4. This will allow you to track inventory by location.

Set Inventory by SKU

  1. Navigate to the product details page in Corksy

  2. Find the section for inventory settings.

  3. Set the quantity of inventory for the specific SKU.

Create Fulfillment Rules

You can assign specific locations for fulfilling orders by sales channel.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Locations settings page.

  2. Under Fulfillment Rules, create rules for your e-commerce channel.

  3. Example: Assign pickup orders to be fulfilled from "Quirksy Estates Tasting Room."

  4. Assign shipping orders to be fulfilled from "Warehouse."

  5. Set Rules by Sales Channel

  6. For both Pickup Orders and Shipping Orders, designate the appropriate location for inventory deduction.

  7. Save your changes.

Understand POS Location Logic

  1. When using Corksy POS system, the POS pickup location may appear empty by default.

  2. Corksy automatically determines the fulfillment location and deducts inventory based on your login.

  3. If you have multiple iPads or tenants at different locations, Corksy will know which location to use based on the login information.

Set Bulk Inventory

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab.

  2. View the list of all SKUs, including product variations.

  3. Select the SKUs you want to update with the check box to the left

  4. Choose the locations to assign inventory.

  5. Perform a bulk upload or update.

  6. Enter the inventory quantity for each SKU.

    1. Example: Set the quantity to 100 if you have 100 bottles for each variation.

  7. Save your changes
