Add Inventory During Product Setup

  1. When creating or editing a product, scroll to the bottom of the product screen.

  2. Enter the total inventory available across all sales channels:

    • POS

    • Online Store

    • Wine Club

  3. This reflects your overall stock before breaking it down by location.

Use this step to establish a global inventory count before location-level breakdown.

Track Inventory by SKU and Location

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab under Products.

  2. Find your product and view its variants (e.g., 750ml and 1L Chardonnay).

  3. For each SKU, you’ll see a breakdown by location.

  4. Click Add Inventory to:

    • Add stock

    • Subtract stock (e.g., for samples)

    • Set a new stock level

This level of detail supports accurate tracking across multiple fulfillment sources.

Adjust Inventory in Real Time

  1. Choose the SKU and location you want to update.

  2. Use the edit tools to:

    • Set new values (e.g., change Tasting Room A from 200 to 300)

    • Subtract bottles (e.g., subtract 3 for sampling)

  3. Total inventory across all locations will update automatically.

Adjustments are instantly reflected in your product-level and channel-level views.

Set Up Locations

  1. Go to Settings > Locations.

  2. Add each location where your wine is stored or sold.

  3. These locations will become selectable in the inventory tab and linked to sales channels.

Set up multiple tasting rooms, warehouses, or retail partners as needed.
