Inventory Management on POS

Add, subtract, and assign inventory by location and variant directly from your POS or admin portal.

Edit Inventory in POS

  1. From the Corksy POS, tap Menu > Inventory.

  2. Select the product you want to update.

  3. Tap Edit next to the product.

  4. Add or subtract the quantity as needed (e.g., new stock or tastings).

  5. Optionally, add a note to document why the inventory was updated.

  6. Changes save automatically and the product becomes available for sale.

Example: Add 12 bottles of Phantom Chardonnay to reflect a new shipment.


View and Filter by Location

  1. Use the filter tool to switch between inventory by location.

  2. Only the location you're currently logged into will be editable.

  3. To manage another location:

    • Switch your POS login to that location, or

    • Use the admin portal to manage all locations in one place.


Admin Portal and Reporting

  1. Go to the Admin Portal to see real-time updates to inventory.

  2. Use the Products section to assign inventory by variant and location.

  3. Adjust user-level permissions to control who can edit inventory vs. products.

  4. Access Inventory Reports to view and export history of inventory changes.

Example: Subtract 3 bottles from inventory after tasting events to reflect actual stock.
