Understanding the Customers Tab in the Corksy Admin Portal
This article provides an overview of the Customers tab in the Corksy Admin Portal, including what each column displays and how the data is structured.
Searching for Customers
At the top of the Customers tab in the Corksy POS, you can search for a customer using any of the following:
First name
Last name
Email address
Phone number (if provided during account creation)
This helps quickly locate an existing customer to view or edit their profile.
Columns
When viewing the Customers tab, you’ll see the following columns:
Name: Displays the customer’s full name.
Customers are automatically sorted alphabetically by first name.
Click the column header to reverse the sort order.
Contact: Shows the customer’s email address and, if available, phone number.
Note: Phone numbers are optional across all sign-up methods (Admin, POS, and eCommerce).
Customer Type: Displays one of five predefined customer types (Wine Club member, First time, Returning, Inactive, or Prospect).
Customer Tags: Lists any tags manually assigned to the customer.
Orders: Indicates the number of orders the customer has placed.
Spent: Shows the total amount the customer has spent.
Average Order Value: The average dollar amount per order.
Actions: Includes options to:
Edit customer
View customer details
Assign to a wine club
Change the customer’s password
Using Filters and Exports in the Customers Tab
You can use several filters at the top of the page to manage and segment your customer list.
1. Payment Method Filter
All (default)
Active: Customers with a card on file
Inactive: Customers who have not added a card
This is useful when troubleshooting wine club billing or other payment-related issues.
2. Customer Status Filter
All (default)
Account: Customers who have registered for a Corksy account
Guest: Customers who checked out without creating an account
3. Password Status Filter
All (default)
Completed: Customer has signed up through the e-commerce site and set a password
Incomplete: Customer has not finished e-commerce sign-up
This is helpful if a customer is reporting trouble logging in.
4. Customer Tags Filter
You can filter by one or more customer tags
Tags can be selected and removed as needed
5. Exporting Customers
This exports exactly what is currently on your screen
If you have filters applied, only the filtered data will be included
If no filters are applied, the full list will export
