How Products Are Displayed
From your storefront, click into a product (e.g., Phantom Chardonnay).
The following fields are shown:
Description
Collections and Tags
Wine Specifications (e.g., varietal, alcohol %, etc.)
Only fields that are filled in appear on the page. Blank fields are hidden.
Variants, Tags, and Price Discounts
Variants like 750ml and 1L bottles will display as options for the customer to select.
If a discounted price is set:
The original price will appear with a strikethrough.
The discount will be shown as the current sale price.
Displaying variants and discounts clearly improves product discoverability and conversion.
Filtering and Quick Add Features
Tags make your products searchable and filterable in the shop.
Example: Filter by the "New Wine Drinkers" tag to show only relevant wines.
Use Quick Add to display a compact product card with:
Variants
Price
Add-to-cart option
Specifications and Field Visibility
Any blank specification fields (e.g., harvest date) will not appear to the customer.
Fields must be filled in from the product edit screen for visibility.
Make sure to complete key fields to ensure consistency across products on the front end.
