Steps to PREAUTHORIZE a ticket on the Corksy point-of-sale.
On the Corksy point-of-sale, on the SELL screen, s
elect PRE AUTH
Select if you would like to preauthorize a card by manually entering the card OR using the terminal.
Note: if you select Credit/Debit via terminal, you will be instructed to swipe the credit card on the terminal.
Once verified, you will see a preauthorization banner on top of the cart.
Finally, when you go to pay you will see an additional button on the checkout labeled Preauthorization that can be selected without having to get the customer's physical credit card again.
