When uploading your video to YouTube, we recommend that you add the settings below.

YouTube Upload Settings: Details

Under the details tab of your video settings, set the video title and description and also choose a thumbnail from your video. A thumbnail will be shown as the first, cover screen. You can also add your video to any playlist you have created.

Your Audience setting will allow comments below your videos. If you tick: Not made for Kids, you will be able to allow comments or disable comments further down.

Set your paid promotion and automatic chapter settings.

Add tags if you want your videos to be found on YouTube or if your videos will be publicly available. Set your language and caption certification settings as well as the recording date and location as shown below.

Select your licence and allow embedding to allow your YouTube videos to be embedded on your CCK website pages. Untick allow people to sample this content if you do not want someone to create a short video from your video.

Select your video category:

Set your comments as below (only available if you did not select made for Kids). We recommend disabling comments if you are uploading videos for educational purposes as part of a paid course or product on your CCK website.

Under the elements tab, you are able to add an end screen to your video or choose an end screen from your existing video.

Make sure your video has no copyright issues on the next screen.

YouTube Privacy Settings: Visibility

Set your YouTube video as unlisted under Visibility. This will allow your video to be shown on CCK, but not available for others to view on YouTube. Click save when you are done.

You will be able to view all of your YouTube video visibility settings on the Content section of your YouTube studio account as shown below. Only Unlisted or Public videos will be shown on your CCK website. Private videos will not be shown.

Copy YouTube Video Link

You will be able to copy your unlisted YouTube video link by opening your YouTube studio account (click here) and selecting the Content menu option on the left. Click on the 3 dot Options menu next to an unlisted video and select Get Shareable Link as shown below. This is the link you add to the Video Widget on your CCK page.
