An email list is the main way for you to organise email subscribers on your CCK website platform.

Why Only Have a Single Email List?

We recommend only creating one single email list for all of your contacts on your website. The main reason for this is the fact that subscribers need to have the ability to unsubscribe from your email list by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your emails as shown below.

📌 Important! If you create multiple email lists and a subscriber unsubscribed by clicking the unsubscribe link, they might still appear on your other email lists. This might lead to a subscriber marking your emails as spam or junk emails.

How to Create, Rename or Delete an Email List

You can create or delete an email list by navigating to your Emails & Automations section and selecting Lists & Subscribers on the left and Lists at the top of the screen. Select + Add List at the top right to create a new email list.

You can delete or rename an email list by clicking on the gear icon at the right of the email list as shown below.

How Can Contacts Automatically Subscribe To Your Email List?

Contacts are automatically subscribed to your email list through the opt-in form widget as shown below. Click on the Form Widget on any page, to access the settings icon at the top, then select Connect to Email Marketing and select your email list.

You can also add contacts to an email list by adding this action as a step in an email automation as shown below.

Email Subscriber Permission

It is important to get permission to add a contact to your email list. The first step to do this is to enable the double opt-in option in all forms where you are giving away free information in return for a name and email address as shown below.
