When you first join CCK, you’ll choose a website template to begin building your site. However, you may decide later that another template better suits your needs.
This help article will explain how to switch to a new template and what to expect.
Important considerations before switching to a new template:
Please remember that when you install a new website theme or template, you will have to redo everything on the new website template, meaning you will need to start from scratch.
The new template will not automatically move everything from your old template to the new template.
Additionally, content cannot be transferred between websites. This means you’ll need to manually:
Recreate global styling
Add all text and images
Reconnect domains and email addresses
Re-import your contacts
To select a new website template, navigate to your My Sites and Funnels section, go to Websites and then click on + Create New Website:
Click Yes on the pop-up asking if you want to create another website. You will then see all the available template options (which might differ from the ones in the screenshot below). Once you have decided on a template, click on the Select button of the template you have chosen:
Once you have installed the new website template, we would recommend that you disconnect your domain from your old website.
You will need to do this under your Domain section in your Website Settings:
As well as the Settings section under Messaging and Workflows:
If you have added your Email Server to your website, you will need to remove this as well under the Applications section in your Website Settings:
After disconnecting your domain from your old website, you set the old website as inactive and the new website as active.
To do this, navigate to your My Sites and Funnels section, go to Websites, click on the gear icon next to the website and then select either the Make active or Make inactive option:
