Create a Family and Add Members

INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Create a new Family.

  • Use Cases: System users can help related individuals enjoy the club experience by creating a Family and assigning roles (e.g. primary or child).


SETUP REQUIREMENTS

The first step is to create a family with one member.

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click MEMBERS > SEARCH.

  3. Enter the Member's name in the search bar.

  4. Click the Edit button.

On the Member's Profile page, click the Family tab. Click the Family field and search for the family name. When no match displays, click the Add New Family button.

In the popup window:

  1. Leave the Family ID field blank (CourtReserve auto-generates this number).

  2. Select a Family Membership plan for this family. Note: If you are adding members to a family without assigning a Family Membership, leave this field blank.

  3. Set the Payment Frequency. This field will display only if Family Membership is added.

  4. Set the Membership Start Date. This field will display only if Family Membership is added.

  5. Click Save changes.

Back on the Member Profile page, click the Family Role field and select a role (usually Primary). Click Save Changes.

Adding a Member

Next, add a Member to the new Family.

  1. Go to the side menu and click MEMBERS > SEARCH.

  2. Enter the Member's name in the search bar.

  3. Click the Edit button.

On Member's Profile page:

  1. Click the Family tab.

  2. Click the Family field and search for the family name.

  3. Select the matching family name.

The last step is to set the family role for the new Member. Click the Family Role field and select an option. Click Save Changes.

CourtReserve adds the Member to the Family. The table at the bottom of the page shows all Members of this family.

FEATURE USAGE - ADMIN PERSPECTIVE

System users can verify the new Family on the dashboard. Go to the side menu and click the FAMILIES tab. CourtReserve shows the new family in the table.
