INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Remove a player from a Family.

  • Use Cases: There are many reasons why a player might want to leave a Family plan. For instance, a teenager with a child role might want to become more active and have full membership. Only system users can detach a player from a Family.

Reversing the "Detach" action is not possible. A "Detached" version of this member's account will be stored within the family if any information cannot be transferred to the member's new account.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click MEMBERS > SEARCH.

  3. Enter the player's name in the search bar.

  4. Click the Edit button.

On the new page, click the Family tab and then click the Detach from Family button. Click Yes in the confirmation popup window.

After a system user detaches a player from a Family, CourtReserve makes two changes.

  • The platform creates a new profile for the player.

  • The Family table keeps the player's name but changes the status to DETACHED if there is any information that cannot be moved to the player's new account.

TRANSFERRING MEMBER DATA TO NEW ACCOUNT

Audit Log: The "Edit: Member" audit log will track member details (Email, First & Last Name, Custom Ratings, etc.) and identify the family the member was removed from. Additionally, for the detached member's account, an audit log record will track the updates to the family's "Amount Due" or "Account Credit" related to the detachment.

Payment Profiles: Payment Profiles created by the member will be removed from the previous family, and added to the member's new account.

Individual Memberships: If the member had an Individual Membership, it will be moved to their new account. The Start Date, Next Payment Date, Cancellation Date, and Suspended status will remain unchanged.

Reservations, Lessons, Event & League Registrations: All Upcoming, Past, and Waitlisted bookings and registrations will transfer to the member's new account. Booking and registration fees will move to the new member account unless they were partially or fully paid with account credit, in which case the fee remains with the previous family's account and is overridden to $0.00 on the new account.

Misc. Fees: Any Miscellaneous Fee assigned to the individual, if unpaid or fully paid with non-account credit methods, will move to the new account. Similar to bookings, if a fee was partially or fully paid with account credit, it remains on the previous family’s account and is set to $0.00 on the new account.

Packages & Recurring Fees: Packages and Recurring Fees assigned to the individual will move to the new account. Package punch counts (used and remaining) and Recurring Fees' Start Date, Next Payment Date, Cancellation Date, and Suspended status will remain unchanged.
