INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Enable the approval tool to track club activity related to reservations, lessons, new members, and new event registrations.

Use Cases: The To Do page gives club managers a quick 360-degree view of club activity. When unanticipated data appears on the page, managers can investigate specific issues and solve problems. If enabled, system users can approve all lesson booking requests.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Opening the To Do page

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Click TO DO on the side menu. A new page displays.

Lesson Approvals

If a system user needs to approve booked lessons, those requests appear on this page. Review each row and click Approve or Decline.

For sub-admins, the ability to approve platform activities (e.g. new registrations or new members) is an optional permission that can be enabled and disabled by admins.

Declined

If Declined, CourtReserve displays a popup window with booking details and a blank field. Optionally, enter a reason for the decline and click the Decline lesson button.

CourtReserve automatically removes that booking from the calendar and sends the member an email notification.

Approved

If approved, CourtReserve displays a confirmation popup window. Click the Approve button.

On the member side, CourtReserve removes the Pending Approval notice on the details page and sends the member an email notification.

Note on Approving Memberships:

If an admin requires membership selection during sign-up and also requires admin approval, the system does not automatically issue a refund if the admin declines the membership. In these cases, the admin must locate the transaction manually and process the refund.
