INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Members create their own court bookings or lessons on the member portal.

  • Use Cases: Default or custom schedulers can be made public to let members manage their own reservations. On desktops or mobile devices, members can check the calendar, book court time, reserve lessons, and make payments.

Members cannot set up recurring reservations on the member portal. System users can create these recurring reservations on behalf of a member.

PREREQUISITES

Members and players must have an active CourtReserve account and membership plan. Players can install the CourtReserve app on their mobile devices (Apple or Android).

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

To book a court, club members and players should:

  1. Login to the member portal.

  2. Click Reservations in the top menu.

  3. Click Book a Court.

On the Reservations page:

  1. Check All Courts if this option is available (to display an expanded view and see all court types).

  2. Select a date.

  3. Select a court type.

  4. Select a start time and click/tap the Reserve button.

The All Courts and Consolidated tabs will only show if both the Expanded and Consolidated default schedulers are visible on the member portal.

Booking a court

On the next page:

  1. Select a Reservation type.

  2. Confirm the start time.

  3. If members want to change the default duration time, they click the field and select a different duration for the booking (if available). The end time automatically adjusts.

Adding Players

There are two ways to add a member or player to a booking: add a club member or a guest.

  • To add a club member, click the Additional Players field and enter at least three characters of a member's name. CourtReserve auto-suggests names. Click a name to add it to the booking.

  • To add a guest (a player who is not a member of the club), click the # of Guest(s) field and select a number. Enter the player's name and click Save. CourtReserve automatically displays the guest fee.

Depending on the reservation type and membership type, there may be limits on the number of guests that a player can bring to the club. These limits are set by system users. Guest fees are also set by system users.

Reviewing reservations

To see a list of current and past reservations, the member should click their account name and select My Reservations. A new page displays tabs for upcoming and past bookings.

Paying for a booking

To pay for an upcoming booking, click the DETAILS button. On the next page, click the PAY button. The payment page shows the player the available payment options, including PAY WITH PACKAGE (if the member purchased a club package).

After the payment completes, the player can print a receipt.

Back on the My Reservations page, CourtReserve shows the booking as PAID.
