The Action Queue is your central place to review, approve, and track every write operation Coworker proposes — whether it comes from a Work chat conversation or an Agent run. Nothing is sent or saved until you confirm it.
What is the Action Queue?
When Coworker prepares a write operation (sending an email, updating a CRM record, creating a ticket, etc.), it surfaces a Draft Action card before executing anything. The Action Queue collects all of these draft cards in one organized view so you can review, edit, approve, or dismiss them at your own pace.
The queue is accessible from the Executions tab in your Agents view. A badge shows you how many actions are pending review.
Executing and dismissing actions
Each Draft Action card in the queue displays:
Which integration is involved (e.g., Gmail, Jira, Salesforce)
A plain-language summary of what will happen
All relevant fields — recipients, record details, content, and so on
From each card you can:
Execute — confirms and runs the action immediately. The card moves to a Done state with a timestamp.
Edit — modify any field inline before confirming. Editors are tailored to each tool type (e.g., a rich email editor for Gmail, a channel picker for Slack).
Dismiss — cancels the action without executing it. Dismissed actions are retained in your history so you have a full audit trail.
When two or more actions are pending at the same time, an Execute All option appears at the top of the queue. This will run all pending actions that are not set to "Always Review" in your preferences.
Keyboard shortcuts: Use J/K or the arrow keys to navigate between drafts, Enter or A to execute, and X or Backspace to dismiss.
Agent runs that require review
When an Agent is configured with Always Review for one or more integrations, its write actions are held in the Action Queue rather than executing automatically. You'll see these grouped by Agent run in the queue.
To review an Agent's pending actions:
Open the Executions tab and locate the Agent run.
Click into the run to see all draft actions associated with it.
Review each card individually, or use Execute All to approve all pending actions at once.
Use the View Agent Run button on any card to see the full context of the run that produced the draft.
Delivery drafts — where an Agent is configured to send its output to Slack, email, or a webhook — also appear here with destination details (e.g., "To: jane@example.com" or "#general") so you know exactly where the output is headed before approving.
Viewing past write actions
Every action — whether executed, dismissed, or automatically run — is tracked in the Action Queue history. Each entry shows:
The integration and action type
The final status: Done, Dismissed, or Executing
A timestamp for when the action completed
A link to the result where applicable (e.g., the Jira ticket or Google Doc that was created)
Actions run with Always Execute skip the review step and appear directly in history — giving you a full audit trail even when no manual review was required.
To change how Coworker handles write operations for a specific integration, go to Account Settings → Draft Action Preferences and toggle between Always Review and Always Execute for each connected tool.
