If you created scheduled agents before Agent Builder was available, those agents appear as legacy scheduled agents in Coworker. You can continue to view and manage them, and when you're ready, convert them to the new Agent Builder format with a single click.
Finding your legacy scheduled agents
Legacy scheduled agents are not shown in the main Agent Builder list. To find them:
Navigate to Agents in the left sidebar. You will be taken to the Agent Builder (My Agents) page.
If you have any legacy scheduled agents, you will see a notice at the top of the page: "You have N legacy scheduled agents."
Click that link to open the Legacy Agents page (
/agents/legacy), where all of your legacy agents are listed with a deprecation banner.
Note: If you have no legacy scheduled agents, this notice will not appear.
Converting a legacy agent to Agent Builder
Converting brings your legacy agent's configuration — instructions, schedule, and settings — into the new Agent Builder so you can fully edit and manage it going forward.
From the Legacy Agents page, find the agent you want to convert.
Click Convert to Agent Builder on that agent's row.
You will be taken to the Agent Builder create page with the agent's details pre-filled — including its schedule, instructions, and output settings.
Review the pre-filled configuration, make any changes you want, then click Save to finish creating the agent in Agent Builder.
Once saved, the new agent runs from Agent Builder and the original legacy agent is no longer active.
What carries over during conversion
Agent instructions and prompt
Schedule configuration (frequency, time, timezone, days)
Output settings
After conversion, you can take advantage of all Agent Builder features — including triggers, output destinations, Skills, and execution history — that are not available on legacy agents.
Why convert?
Legacy scheduled agents use an older system that is no longer being developed. Agent Builder is the current platform for building, editing, and monitoring agents at Coworker. Converting gives you:
Full editing and versioning support
Access to additional trigger types (on-demand, webhook, Slack mention)
Output destinations including Slack channels, email, and Action Queue
Execution history and run logs
Skills and shared agent capabilities
