3rd Party Hauler Training

Using the Hauler dashboard is an easy way to assign jobs to your trucks and stay on top of daily operations.

Updated this week

The company you are hauling for will set up your trucks and drivers so they appear in the Hauler Dashboard. If you don't see a truck or driver in the dashboard, contact the Provider Dispatcher to add any missing items.

The Provider will also set up your trucks to make assets available to all trucks or to specific vehicles ( depending on whether they can handle the size or weight of the asset, etc.). Knowing which trucks can handle which types of assets will help assign the right job to the right truck.

Once the jobs are assigned, your drivers will use the CRO Drivers app to complete the jobs. The Provider can monitor the job status to ensure things are on track.

For more details on using the Hauler App, you can review the training video below or read the Walk Through to understand how the Hauler App functions.

Interface & Navigation

The left navigation pane includes all the areas where you can review your jobs to dispatch, Providers, Drivers, and Trucks.

Next to the navigation pane is the Unassigned Jobs List. This is where you will see jobs assigned to you by the Provider and awaiting assignment to a valid truck.

Next to that, you will see your Trucks. These are the targets for your unassigned jobs.

Fleet Readiness

Before you can move a single load, your equipment must be ready for assignment. Check both the Truck and Drivers tabs in the navigation pane to ensure they show your fleet and team, and work with the Provider Dispatcher if any items are missing.

The Driver-Truck Connection: To assign a job to a truck, that truck must first have an active driver assigned to it. You can assign drivers from the hamburger menu located to the right of the Truck name.

This menu also gives you the option to print a list of jobs if some drivers prefer to work on paper.

Dispatching Your First Job

  1. Click Dispatch from the sidebar.

  2. Click on any unassigned job to view the job details.

  3. Use the Assigned Truck drop-down list to select a truck.

  4. Click Submit to dispatch the job to the truck.

Managing & Editing Assignments

You can always move jobs to different trucks.

  • Unassigning a Job: If a job needs to be pulled back, select the job and use the truck assignment dropdown to select Unassigned.

  • Reassigning a Job: To switch trucks, select the job, choose a different truck from the list, and hit Submit again.

Troubleshooting Errors

If you see an error stating "Truck not configured for this delivery job," it means the vehicle specs don't match the job requirements (e.g., weight capacity or equipment type). These settings are controlled by the Provider Dispatcher, but there are a few ways to move forward.

Option A: Select a different truck that is equipped for the task.

Option B: Contact the Provider Dispatcher to update the configuration settings for that specific truck.

Driver Training

If your drivers are unsure how to use the CRO Drivers App, training is available in the app under the CRO menu.

You should now be able to manage your fleet and complete jobs efficiently, and stay on top of your trucks and drivers.

If you have gone through all the troubleshooting steps and are still experiencing a problem, reach out to your Provider; they should be able to get you back on track.
