Adding or Removing Your Data

Your Crux Vault allows you to store and organize files such as documents, photos, videos, and notes. You can upload new items, create folders, and delete anything you no longer need. This guide explains what you can (and cannot) do when managing your data in Crux.

How to Add New Data

1. Upload a file

  1. From the Dashboard or inside any folder, click Upload or drop;

  2. Select your file (documents, images, videos, audio);

  3. Choose whether to keep it in your main Vault or place it inside a specific folder;

  4. Assign the file to a nominee or to your docs or both.

2. Create a new folder

  1. Click Create folder;

  2. Name your new folder;

  3. Your folder will appear immediately in your Vault.

How to Remove Data

Delete a file or folder

  1. Hover over the item you want to delete;

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the right side.;

  3. Select Delete;

  4. The item will move to Deleted Files.

Restore deleted items

  1. Go to Deleted Files in the left sidebar;

  2. Select the item you want to restore;

  3. Click Restore.

Troubleshooting

  • I can’t find my file: Check the folder or use the search bar.

  • My file isn’t uploading: Make sure you have storage space and a stable connection.

  • I deleted something by mistake: Check Deleted Files. You can restore it.

  • I want to update a document: Delete the old version and upload a new one.
