Writing Messages and Notes

Updated over 3 months ago

Instructions and messages help your nominees understand your wishes. You can write personal notes, leave guidance on specific topics, or store journal entries that will be shared only when the time comes. Everything remains private and secure until activation.

How to Add Instructions or Messages

  1. Open the nominee’s folder
Each nominee has their own folder where you can store notes or instructions meant specifically for them.

  2. Click “Create Note” or access “Journal”

    • Notes: For specific instructions or messages.

    • Journal: For ongoing reflections, letters, or thoughts.

  3. Write your message
Add clear instructions or a personal message. You can update or delete it anytime.

  4. Save your note
It will automatically be assigned to that nominee and stored safely.

  5. Repeat for each nominee if you want to leave personalized messages.

Ideas for Instructions & Messages

  • Where important physical documents are stored

  • Wishes for medical, financial, or personal matters

  • Guidance for children or beneficiaries

  • Letters, reflections, or memories

  • Instructions for digital accounts or stored items

Troubleshooting

  • My note didn’t save: Check your internet connection and retry.

  • I want to rewrite something: Delete the old note and create a new one.

  • Nominee can’t see my notes: They will see them only after your lifetime, not before.
