What is the pump.fun Platform Fee?

The pump.fun Platform Fee is a fee on every trade that you place through the pump.fun web app or the pump.fun mobile app. The Fees page says it starts on 17 October 2026.

The Platform Fee comes in addition to the Creator fee (or Holder Rewards), the Protocol fee and the LP fee. It also comes in addition to the EVM fee and to any bridge, swap or network fee. Here is how pump.fun collects the Platform Fee:

  • The fee is taken in the asset you spend on a buy or receive on a sale, SOL or USDC.

  • Pump.fun deducts the fee from the amount you spend or from your proceeds.

  • The app shows the fee as a separate line before you confirm the trade.

  • The first purchase when you create a coin carries the fee.

  • A limit order or other conditional order pays the fee when the order executes. The rate is the one that applied when you placed the order.

Pump.fun may reduce or waive the Platform Fee at its discretion and can withdraw a reduction at any time.

Which pump.fun fee does code VIP50 lower?

Code VIP50 lowers only the pump.fun Platform Fee, from 0.45% to 0.40% of each trade. The cut is 0.05 percentage points. The code does not touch the Creator fee, the Protocol fee or the LP fee. The bonding curve total stays at 1.25%, and the PumpSwap tiers stay the same.

The code also has no effect on the graduation fee, the EVM fee or the Perpetuals Feature fees.

When you apply a referral code, part of your Platform Fee goes to the user who referred you. Pump.fun sets that share and may change it. Pump.fun keeps the rest. With no code, pump.fun keeps the whole Platform Fee. To learn where to enter the code, read what pump.fun referral code VIP50 gives you and where to enter it.

How much does code VIP50 save on pump.fun?

Code VIP50 saves 0.05% of each pump.fun app trade, which is $0.50 on a $1,000 trade. The table shows the Platform Fee only. Pool fees and network fees are not in these figures.

What are the pump.fun bonding curve fees?

Pump.fun bonding curve fees total 1.25% on every trade, for coins paired with SOL and for coins paired with USDC. The Fees page splits the total into three parts.

Creator fee

Protocol fee

LP fee

Total fee

0.300%

0.95%

0%

1.25%

The Creator fee goes to the coin's creator, or to a charity if the creator opts in. The Protocol fee goes to the pump.fun platform. The LP fee goes back into the pool as liquidity.

Each fee is collected in the quote asset of the pool, never in the coin that you trade. For a SOL coin, that asset is SOL. For a USDC coin, that asset is USDC.

How do PumpSwap fees change with market cap?

PumpSwap fees on a canonical pool fall as the market cap of the coin grows. A canonical pool is the PumpSwap pool that a coin gets when it graduates from pump.fun. The Fees page calculates the market cap as the current price in SOL or USDC times 1 billion tokens.

The full SOL schedule has 25 tiers. The rows below are copied from the Fees page.

Pump.fun fees for non-canonical pools and Custom Pair coins

Pump.fun charges 0.3% in total on PumpSwap pools that are not canonical. The split is 0% Creator fee, 0.05% Protocol fee and 0.25% LP fee.

A Custom Pair coin is a coin paired with an asset other than SOL or USDC. Custom Pair coins do not use the tiered schedules. They pay a flat fee on every trade, whatever the market cap. The creator cannot set the Creator fee on these coins.

How much does it cost to create a coin on pump.fun?

Pump.fun charges no platform fee to create a coin, for any pairing. You pay only the Solana network transaction fee. You also pay the small SOL deposit that the network needs for the token's on-chain accounts.

The first purchase that you make when you create a coin is a trade. In the app, that first purchase carries the Platform Fee. With code VIP50 applied, the rate is 0.40%.

When a coin graduates to PumpSwap, the graduation fee is 0.015 SOL. The fee is the same for every coin, whatever its pair asset. For a SOL coin, the fee comes out of the bonding curve. For other coins, the account that performs the migration pays it, normally pump.fun. If your trade triggers the migration, you pay it.

How do Holder Rewards and Cashback coins change pump.fun fees?

Pump.fun Holder Rewards coins send the Creator fee to holders instead of the creator. On a SOL or USDC coin, the rate is the same tiered Creator fee. Only the receiver changes.

On a Custom Pair coin with Holder Rewards, the creator sets one flat rate at launch. The rate can go from 0.01% up to a maximum that the platform sets. The Fees page gives 3% as that maximum at the time of writing. The rate shows on the coin's page. The rate cannot change after launch, except through a community takeover (CTO).

Holder Rewards go out from time to time to wallets that hold at least US$20 in value, net of distribution costs. Holder Rewards are not guaranteed.

Cashback mode is no longer available for new launches. On an existing Cashback coin, the buyer gets the Creator fee back as cashback when the interface uses the cashback instructions. If the interface does not, the creator gets the fee.

Pump.fun fees on trades routed through more than one pool

Pump.fun charges each pool fee only once when a trade passes through more than one pool on the web app, mobile app or Terminal. An example is SOL to a pair coin, then the pair coin to the coin you buy.

  • The Protocol fee is charged on the first pool in the route, at that pool's rate.

  • The Creator fee (or Holder Rewards) and the LP fee are charged on the last pool, at the rates of the coin you trade.

Interfaces that have not adopted the current pump.fun program may charge all three pool fees on every pool in the route.

Does the pump.fun Platform Fee apply on Terminal or other apps?

No, the pump.fun Platform Fee does not apply to trades on Terminal or on any third-party interface. The Fees page says that other interfaces may charge their own fees instead. The pool fees still apply on every interface, because the pump.fun smart contracts set them.

So code VIP50 helps only when you trade in the pump.fun web app or mobile app. On another app, the fee that you pay depends on that app. Other Solana trading apps have their own referral codes. See the pages on GMGN referral code cointellus, Axiom Trade referral code connect and Fomo app referral code vip10.

The Fees page says the fee shown in the app may not exactly match the fee that the smart contract charges.

Pump.fun fees for EVM transactions and the Perpetuals Feature

Pump.fun charges 0.10% to 0.15% of the value of each transaction on EVM Blockchains, which include Robinhood Chain. That EVM fee comes in addition to the Platform Fee. The platform pays the network gas on these transactions.

The Perpetuals Feature lets you trade perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid inside the app. Pump.fun charges two fees there:

  • A builder fee of up to 0.10% of the notional value of each order. You approve the fee by signature when you first use the feature.

  • A fee of up to 0.25% on each transfer to or from Hyperliquid through the bridge in the app.

The Platform Fee does not apply to Perpetuals Feature orders, so VIP50 does not change these costs. Hyperliquid's trading fees, funding fees and one-time activation fee come from Hyperliquid, not pump.fun. The Perpetuals Feature is not available to US persons or to persons in Ontario, Canada. For perps on Hyperliquid itself, see Hyperliquid referral code AWD. For GMX, see GMX referral code PRO.
