How do I ban a fan from FanSee, and how can I unban them if needed?

Yes, FanSee includes a ban feature that allows operators to permanently block specific users from appearing in the fan cam queue. To ban a fan, click the red X button or ban icon next to their feed in the Live button area when viewing their video during a FanSee activation. Once banned, that fan will remain banned until you manually unban them‚ bans persist across sessions and do not automatically reset when you stop and restart FanSee.

From the banned fan's perspective, the ban is invisible. They can still scan the QR code, their camera activates, and they see the mobile frame as if they're waiting in the queue to appear on the video board. However, their video feed simply never appears in your operator backend, and they will never be selected to go live on screen. This prevents confrontations or complaints from fans who might otherwise realize they've been excluded.

To unban a fan, navigate to the Design section within your FanSee admin panel and locate the Banned Users list (usually found at the bottom of Design settings). From there, you can remove individual fans from the ban list with a single click, and they'll immediately become available to rejoin future activations. This is useful if you accidentally ban someone or want to give a previously problematic fan another chance. Be careful when operating, as it's easy to accidentally hit the ban button instead of other controls during live events.

Bans are useful for managing repeat offenders who violate your content standards‚ such as inappropriate gestures or behavior‚ ensuring that only appropriate content reaches your screens while still delivering an exciting, interactive experience for well-behaved fans.
