On iOS devices, Safari typically provides a smoother experience with CUE activations because it's the default browser with full system integration. Chrome on iOS sometimes handles permissions differently — particularly for camera and microphone access — and may not prompt users for permissions in the same way Safari does. In some cases, Chrome's permission settings are buried in the iOS Settings app rather than surfacing as a browser popup, which can lead to black screens when trying to take photos or access the camera. We see approximately 80% of our iOS traffic coming through Safari since it's the default browser. If you encounter issues on Chrome, we recommend trying Safari or checking your iOS Settings to ensure Chrome has the necessary permissions enabled.
