When uploading both a CSV file for codes and a CSV file for URLs to be delivered together, the system pairs them sequentially by row number—the code in row 1 of your codes file will be paired with the URL in row 1 of your URLs file, and so on. To ensure proper alignment, both CSV files must have the same number of rows. The platform will display a count of items in each uploaded file, and if the row counts don't match, the system will alert you with a visual indicator (such as red highlighting or a warning message) so you can correct the mismatch before going live. When both code and URL distribution are enabled, both will automatically use the same distribution method (sequential or random) to maintain proper pairing. CUE recommends using sequential distribution rather than random when both files are enabled, as this ensures predictable and correct pairing of codes with URLs. Before your event, double-check that both files have identical row counts and that each row's code corresponds to the correct URL. Many clients find it helpful to maintain a single master spreadsheet with codes and URLs in adjacent columns, then export each column as a separate CSV for upload.
