What is Item History?
When creating content in an Episode, Cuez automatically keeps track of changes as you and your team make them. “Whenever you add, remove, or update content in an Item, Cuez records these changes in the 'Item History'. This allows you to see what was changed, by whom, and when.”
How does Item History work?
Cuez automatically creates new Item History entries based on various factors. For example, when someone makes a change or after a certain amount of time has passed.
To view the Item History, click the six-dot icon in front of the Item, then select 'Item History'.
The history will open in a separate tab, showing a timeline of changes for the Item. The Item History shows a timeline of changes for the Item. The current version appears on the left, while older versions appear on the right, with the oldest version at the far end. This allows you to clearly see how the Item evolved.
Each entry/version in the Item History shows the date and time, as well as the user responsible for the change.
The Item History contains all changes made to the Item. This includes changes in both Text Blocks and Cue Blocks, as well as text edits and uploaded media. Text can be viewed in the form of the Text Block or text fields, while media initially shows as a small thumbnail, which you can click to view in fullscreen. Media can also be downloaded if needed from the Item History by clicking the three vertical dots on the thumbnail and selecting 'Download' from the menu.
