What is Item History

When creating content in your Episode, Cuez automatically keeps track of changes as they are made by you and your team. Whether you add, remove or update content in your Items, Cuez creates an overview of these changes in the form of the 'Item History'. This allows you to easily see which changes were made, by whom and when.

How does Item History work?

A new entry in the Item History is made automatically by Cuez based on various factors. This can be when someone makes a change, when a certain amount of time has passed, etc.

To consult the Item History, click the six dots icon in front of the Item, then select 'Item History'.

The history will open in a separate tab, showing you a timeline of the changes for this Item. As shown below, the Item History displays a timeline of changes for the Item, with the current version on the left and older versions towards the right (the oldest version being the last one on the right). This results in being able to see the evolution of the Item during the creation of the content.

Each entry/version in the Item History displays the date and time of the version, as well as the user 'responsible' for the change.

The Item History contains all changes, whether in a Text Block or a Cue Block, whether it is text or uploaded media, etc. Text can be viewed in the form of the Text Block or text fields, while media initially shows as a small thumbnail which you can click to view the media in fullscreen. If needed, media can also be downloaded from the Item History by clicking the three vertical dots on the thumbnail and selecting 'Download' from the menu.
