For each Item in your Episode, certain actions can be performed via the two buttons that appear when hovering over an Item: a '+' button and a button made up of six dots.
Using the six dots button, one of the options in the menu allows you to give the Item a color.
From here you can give the Item either a background color or a text color.

Mix as needed:
To remove the color from an Item, select the 'Clear color' option from the color menu.
