How can I share an Episode as a Tablet view?

Learn how to share an Episode with a presenter or host to replace your printed host cards with a digital version that is always up to date

Updated over a week ago

As part of your preparation for a show, you might print host cards for the presenter or host of you show. These printed cards, however, are snapshots in time, meaning they do not stay up to date with the changes being made in your show as time goes on.

A better option is to share your Episode in a way that your presenter or host can stay up-to-date with the latest changes, as well as have the freedom to choose which Blocks they want to see and in which font size.

Sharing the public link

From within the Episode in Cuez, use the 'Share public link' option to share your Episode with a presenter or host so they can view it on a Tablet.

Configuring the Tablet layout

Select Tablet layout

Once your host or presenter opens the shared link on their tablet, such as for example on an iPad (Mini) or Android tablet, they can switch the layout of the shared Episode to the 'Tablet' layout.

Filter Blocks

By default, the shared Episode will show all the different Blocks in the Episode, but these can be filtered to only show the ones that you want or need.

In the top left corner, click 'Filter' to open the filter options where you can decide for each of the available Blocks whether or not they should be displayed in your Tablet layout.

Adjust font size

In the top right corner, the font size of the presentation text on the Tablet layout can be adjusted to your needs.

Navigating the Episode in Tablet layout

Once you have your Tablet layout open and configured to your liking, you can navigate the Episode. The Tablet layout shows one Item at a time, allowing you to focus on that Item, just as you would with printed host cards. In the bottom corners of this layout, use the arrow buttons to navigate to the next (or previous) Items.
