Summary
Have you ever had a need to upload important documents and associate them with a specific event? We offer a way to do that with our new module called Documents! Using this feature will allow you to not only store important documents, but you can choose if you want certain files to be made available to your event customer.
How To Upload Documents for Internal Only Use
If you only need a place to store files internally, you do not have to add the new section module shown in the video. You can navigate to the Event - Documents page that can be accessed by clicking into an event from the events page and selecting Documents from the navigation bar.
Once you're on the page, locate and click the three dots "..." on the top right side of the page and select Upload Attachment. This will give you access to select a file from the computer or mobile device that you're on.
Adding the Documents section module for customers to access
Navigate to the Workroom of the event.
From the Table of Contents, locate and click + Add content
Locate and click the Add to proposal button for the Documents module.
The new Documents section is now in place within the event!
To add files, click on the pencil icon and once the slide out menu loads, click the Upload file button
At this point, selecting a file will depend on your computer or mobile device. By default the file will be hidden from then customer view as a safety precaution. To make it visible, click on the eye icon. If the file and the eye icon are colored blue, they will be visible to the customer within the customer view. If they are greyed out, they are not visible to the customer.
