Adding Documents Within Events

You may add various file types to an event for internal or to share with a customer!

Summary

Have you ever had a need to upload important documents and associate them with a specific event? We offer a way to do that with our new module called Documents! Using this feature will allow you to not only store important documents, but you can choose if you want certain files to be made available to your event customer.

How To Upload Documents for Internal Only Use

  1. Open the event.

  2. Click the Event Overview button in the top-right corner of the screen.
    (This opens the side panel.)

  3. Select Upload (or drag and drop your file into the area).

  4. Choose your file and confirm.

Adding the Documents section module for customers to access

  1. Navigate to the Workroom of the event.

  2. From the Table of Contents, locate and click + Add content

  3. Locate and click the Add to proposal button for the Documents module.

  4. The new Documents section is now in place within the event!

  5. To add files, click on the pencil icon and once the slide out menu loads, click the Upload file button

  6. At this point, selecting a file will depend on your computer or mobile device. By default the file will be hidden from then customer view as a safety precaution.

  7. This is how it's shown on the customer view for reference:

Removing a document

  1. Open the Event Overview panel

  2. Go to the Documents tab.

  3. Click the "…" next to the document.

  4. Select Delete and confirm.

Note : Deleting a document permanently removes it from the event.
