See Your Curious Cardinal Sessions on Your Own Calendar
Updated over a week ago

We know you love your calendar. The platform is not meant to replace your calendar use. In fact, we invested more efforts in enhancing our calendar invite system so you can more confidently rely on it to track all your sessions and join sessions.

If you use Google Calendar:

  1. Once the mentor schedules a session, the session calendar event will be directly added to both your and your student’s calendar (unless you have this feature turned off for your Google Calendar).

  2. From the calendar invite, you can easily find the link to log in to our platform and join the session!

If you don't have a Google Calendar:

If you don't currently use Gmail and would like to have all your sessions available on your calendar, the easiest way is to create a Google account and just use the Google Calendar and sync your calendar with the Google Calendar you created:

  1. Create a google calendar account with your current email address

    1. Make sure to click on the "use my current email address instead" button so you can use your non-google email address.

    2. From there, simply follow the steps to finish creating your account!

  2. The next step is to sync your current calendar with the newly created Google Calendar! In this example, we will demonstrate how to sync the Google Calendar with Outlook. You can apply the same idea to sync this Google Calendar with other calendar apps.

    1. Go to your newly created Google Calendar, which holds all your Curious Cardinals sessions.

    2. Select the three dots to the right of the calendar name, then select Settings and sharing.

    3. In the settings page, scroll down to the Integrate calendar section and find the Secret address in iCal format, and use the Copy icon next to it to copy it.

    4. Now, you can go back to your Outlook Calendar and add this Google Calendar!

      1. The first step is to find the Add calendar button from your Outlook Calendar

      2. Use the Select from Web option from the left navigation bar, and paste the Secret address in iCal format you just copied from Google Calendar to here. Give this calendar a name, color, and charm! Click Import to confirm adding your Curious Cardinals Lesson Calendar!

      3. That's all! You should now be able to see your Google Calendar events in your Outlook calendar (note that there may be some delay in syncing).
