Session Rescheduling

This article describes the new session rescheduling feature

πŸ“… Rescheduling sessions just got a whole lot easier! No more needing to cancel and schedule a new session (finally!).

Step 1: On the dashboard, select the session you want to reschedule

  1. Click on the overflow menu for the session you want to reschedule.

  2. Click on "Reschedule Session".

Step 2: Fill out the drawer's form

Remember, it's important to check in with your learner's family before deciding to reschedule.
  1. Set the information you'd like to change such as the session length or date and time.

2. Set the reschedule reason. The possible options are "I have a scheduling conflict (non-billable)", "I have a personal emergency (non-billable)", "Requested by student/guardian (non-billable)", and "Requested by student/guardian (billable)." The "(non-billable)" reasons won't incur a charge for the guardians if rescheduled but the "(billable)" will. An example situation to use "Requested by student/guardian (billable)" would be if the student or guardian decided to reschedule a session within 24 hours of the session time and made no prior attempts to tell you. That being said, we leave that up to your discretion!

Step 3: Click Reschedule!

The drawer will close and the session card will automatically show the updated time.

At the same time, an email will be sent to the guardian and student with the previous and updated session information. You'll be CC'd on it as well in case you'd like to communicate directly in the thread. The associated Google calendar event will also be updated with the new session times.

And that's it! Your session has been successfully rescheduled and automatic communications have been sent to everyone involved.
