We're excited to announce our new guided training features that will make training sessions easier for your clients.
The new features will help your clients get a better understanding of the training and the real-time brain feedback they're getting. Plus a few little tips and tricks to improve their sessions moving forward!
So without further ado, let's get started.
Brainwaves
Terms like "Theta" and "Lo-Beta" can sound like gibberish to your users and we think it's important for them to get an understanding of what these terms actually mean.
Now they will have the option to learn more about what these brain frequencies are associated with before they begin their training.
All they need to do is tap the protocol button on the homepage ahead of their training session.
Users appreciate learning more about the brain and their training. This new feature helps them do just that!
Manage Frequencies
Do you think some frequencies should have a different description in the app? No problem, now you can change that!
From your clinician dashboard, simply click on Customize Clinic > Customize Frequency and alter the default descriptions to your liking.
Calibration and Signal Quality Check
The brain frequency fun doesn't end there. We've also added a brand new calibration screen that shows the user their brainwaves frequencies in real-time along with a designated color to help the user understand which brainwave is which.
They will also see selected tips on how to make their training even more effective.
In addition, the calibration and signal quality screens now include better guidance on how to improve the headset placement whenever the signal is interrupted as shown below.
Pre-Training Tips
First-time users will see a presentation of Pre-Training Tips before they begin their first session to help them have a smooth on-boarding experience.
It can also be accessed any time by tapping on the question mark at the bottom right of the pre-game screen.
The tips include information about headset placement instructions, posture, and relaxation during the training.
Moving Dots
Last but not least, we have added the Moving Dots feature that users will see during their training.
Users would sometimes get confused about the reason for negative feedback they'd be getting during training, but now they will know exactly what is causing the issue in real-time thanks to these little moving dots.
Here's how it works:
When the feedback is positive: the dots will align in the center.
When the feedback is negative: they will drift away from the center and the user will know exactly which frequency is out of range and is causing the negative feedback.
What's that? The dots aren't placed in a conveniently viewable location on the screen?
No worries. The user can simply drag the feature to the desired location on the screen using their finger.
That's all for now. As always, we'd love to hear your feedback on how you and your users are feeling about these new features!
