Web New Features:

Sitemate Links

Sitemate Links has now launched as a fully functional Beta version! If you have any feedback or encounter issues, please let us know via chat.

The Sitemate Links feature allows non-Dashpivot users to submit forms into Dashpivot, via the Sitemate app.

Why are we building this?

Sitemate Links is ideal where you want to collect information from people, but those people don't need access into Dashpivot to track, manage, or analyse that information later. For example, collecting information from your workforce or subcontractors, which means more of your processes can become paperless.

There are 2 types of Sitemate Links which can be created:

1. Single Submission

Single Submission Sitemate Links can provide anyone with access to submit a single form for one or more templates, via the Sitemate app without a Dashpivot account.

This works well for processes which need to be filled out occasionally, such as inductions, check-ins, room completion sign-offs, remote toolbox talks, and incident reports. These are free and unlimited.

2. Ongoing Submission

Ongoing Submission Sitemate Links can provide anyone with access to submit multiple forms for one or more templates, via the Sitemate app without a Dashpivot account.

This works well where personnel need to fill out forms regularly, such as timesheets, machine and vehicle pre-starts, take-5s, and job safety analysis forms (JSAs). They can fill out as many forms as required.

Users who access an Ongoing Sitemate Link will appear as Sitemate 'Form Users' in the Users section of Dashpivot, and are paid for by the company's Dashpivot account.

3. Sharing Sitemate Links

Once a Sitemate Link has been created, you'll need to send it to the relevant people so they can start filling out forms via the Sitemate app. There's 2 options:

  • Copy the link and send it as a URL eg. via email or text message.

  • Downloaded a QR code poster, which opens the link when scanned with a smartphone. Stick this on the wall of your site or office.

You can find more detailed information on setting up and distributing Sitemate Links here on our knowledgebase.

Mobile New Features:

Add and submit forms shared in Sitemate Links via the Sitemate app

Share your Sitemate Link to the relevant people so they can start submitting forms into your Dashpivot account.

When someone clicks on the link or scans the QR poster, the template(s) associated with the Sitemate Link will get added into their Sitemate app, and they will then be able to submit a form for that template.

Offline Submission

Just like our Dashpivot mobile app, users of the Sitemate mobile app will also be able to complete and submit forms that have been shared with them when the app does not have an internet connection (offline mode).

The form will be synced when the mobile phones internet connection is restored. This is useful when working on site in areas with bad or no internet coverage (eg. in a tunnel).

Activity Feed

Provides the ability for you to see all of your activity within the Sitemate app. Workers will be able to see the forms that they have submitted in the Sitemate app (e.g. a Timesheet or Induction)

You can find more detailed information on how to Sitemate Links can be used to get your workers to complete various use cases (inductions, timesheets, pre-starts etc) via the Sitemate app here on our knowledgebase.
