Dashpivot automatically numbers all your forms for tracking purposes after you save them, starting at 1 and counting up consecutively (1, 2, 3...). You can control whether the counter is displayed/hidden on your forms, by toggling the form counter on/off in the template editor:

When you create a form, the form counter will display the unique path with a "#" symbol, as shown below

After you click the "Save" button, the counter will appear on your forms like this:

Form Counter Structure

Please note that the counter is NOT global; it is unique to each template and each team folder. This means it will start at 1 in each team folder. However, the number will still be unique as other information is also included in the name:

  • Company name

  • Project Folder Name

  • Team Folder Name

  • Template ID

  • Counter #

Tips

  • You can display the form counter on the Form Thumbnail

  • You can also display the form counter as a column in the register view, by editing the columns displayed
