📝 Creating a Campaign
Follow this step-by-step guide to build, personalize, and launch your first campaign in minutes.
Step 1: Choose Your Channel
Go to Campaigns.
Click Create Campaign.
Select Email or SMS.
Step 2: Pick Your Audience
Select the List you want to send to (e.g., "Hot Leads," "Newsletter Subscribers").
Review the list size to confirm you're targeting the right audience.
💡 Pro Tip: Use the smart lists you built in Managing Contacts and Lists to segment precisely.
Step 3: Write Your Message
For Email:
Subject line — Make it compelling; preview it in the draft
Body — Write your email, or use the AI Content Generator to create it from a prompt
Personalization — Insert dynamic fields like {{first_name}}, {{company}}, {{last_contact_date}} so each email feels personal
Call-to-action — Add buttons or links to drive clicks
For SMS:
Message text — Keep it concise (160 characters fits in one SMS)
Personalization — Use dynamic fields to address recipients by name
Link — Include a shortened link if you want to drive clicks
Using AI to Generate Email Content:
In the email body, click AI Content Generator.
Describe what you want (e.g., "Write a friendly email announcing our spring special, emphasizing 20% off services").
Adjust Tone (friendly, professional, casual) and Length (short, medium, long).
Click Generate.
Review the AI-generated text and refine if needed.
🧠 Example: Prompt: "Create a re-engagement email for customers who haven't visited in 90 days, offering a 15% welcome-back discount." AI generates personalized, professional copy in seconds.
Step 4: Set Send Timing
Send Now — Deploy immediately
Schedule — Choose a date and time
Trigger — Auto-send when a condition is met (e.g., when a contact is added to a list, or after a form submission)
Step 5: Preview & Send
Click Preview to see how your email or SMS looks.
Send a test message to yourself.
Once satisfied, click Send or Schedule.
📊 Multi-Step Campaigns & Automation
Build customer journeys with multi-step campaigns. For example:

To create a multi-step campaign:
Go to Campaigns > Create Campaign.

💡 Email Limits
Each organization can send up to 10,000 emails per month. SMS volume depends on your subscription.
🧠 Campaign Tips
Master the best practices that drive higher engagement, better results, and stronger customer relationships.
Test first — Send a small test batch before rolling out to your full list
Personalize — Use recipient data to make each message feel personal, not generic
Clear CTA — Always include a clear call-to-action (book an appointment, visit a page, reply)
Mobile-friendly — Most emails are read on mobile; keep layouts simple
Timing matters — Tuesday–Thursday mornings often perform well; test different times for your audience
