DaySmart Payroll needs granted TPA access to pay and file this tax. Follow the instructions below to ensure there are no delays in processing:
Sign in to the Revenue Online portal
In the top right corner of the page, select Manage my profile
On the next screen, find the Access box and select Manage Third Party Access
You must have full access in Revenue Online to complete this setup. If you are unsure, contact your payroll admin before continuing.
On the Add Third Party Online Access page, select Next and enter the following:
Username: salsasoft
Access level: All access
Access start date: Select the first day of the quarter payroll began (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1)
Example: If your first paycheck was February 14, 2025, enter 1/1/2025.
Select Submit
โ ๏ธ If you see an error with no explanation, the Colorado Department of Revenue may need to manually grant access. Call them at (303) 238-7378 and ask a representative to grant access to your account.

DaySmart Payroll needs granted TPA access to pay and file this tax. Follow the instructions below to ensure there are no delays in processing:
Sign in to your MyUI Employer+ account
In the main menu, select Account Maintenance, then select Third Party Administrator (TPA)
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select New
On the Assign Third Party Administrator (TPA) page, enter the TPA ID: 500007060
Select Next
Under TPA Details, enter the following:
TPA Services Begin Date: Select the first day of the quarter payroll began (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1)
TPA Services End Date: Leave this blank
Under Un-Assigned Roles, select only the following:
Edit Account Maintenance
Submit Employment and Wage Detail
Edit Tax Payments, Update and Submit
View Rate Notice and Voluntary Contribution
Select Save
โ ๏ธ Do not select any roles under Benefits, Workshare, or Mailing. Selecting extra roles can cause access issues.

Sign in to your MyFAMLI+ Employer account
In Manage My Account, select Manage Accounts
If this option is not visible, contact the agency at (866) 263-2654 for assistance.
In the Account Name column, select your tax account
If the account is not visible, use the Search box to locate it.
Scroll down to Third Party Administrator and select Add
In TPA Account, enter the following information:
Select Account: Salsa Software, Inc (FEIN 87-1539043)
Start Date: Select the first day of the quarter payroll began (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1)
Select Save
Confirm the information is correct, then select Yes, Add TPA

Colorado has local withholding taxes in addition to state withholding. DaySmart Payroll supports paying and filing most localities; however, each city or county sets its own rules and a full list cannot be provided here. If a local tax applies, you will be prompted to enter the necessary tax information during account setup.

Where do I find my Colorado withholding account number?

Your Colorado withholding account number is assigned by the Colorado Department of Revenue when you register. It is an 8-digit number and can be found on correspondence from the agency or by logging into your Revenue Online account.
What is Colorado FAMLI and am I required to participate?

Colorado FAMLI (Family and Medical Leave Insurance) is a state-run paid leave program funded by employer and employee contributions. Most Colorado employers are required to participate. You will need a FAMLI Account Number and your total Colorado employee count to complete setup. Contact the FAMLI program at (866) 263-2654 if you are unsure whether your business is required to participate.
