Supported Tax Filings

  • Employer's Quarterly Wage, Withholding and Workers' Compensation Fee Report (TRD-31109)

Required for Tax Setup

  1. Business Tax Identification Number (11 digits, e.g., 12-345678-91-2)

  2. Filing Frequency (Monthly or Quarterly)

Third Party Administrator (TPA) Access

DaySmart Payroll needs granted TPA access to pay and file this tax. Follow the instructions below to ensure there are no delays in processing:

  1. Log into your NM TAP account at https://tap.state.nm.us/tap/_/#1

  2. Enter your logon and password, then click Log in

  3. Click the Manage My Profile link in the upper-right part of the page

  4. Switch to the More Profile Options… tab

  5. In the Access panel, click the Manage Third Party Access link

  6. Confirm the Allowed field is set to Yes. If it is currently set to No, click No and click Yes at the confirmation prompt

  7. Leave the Default Access field set to Standard

  8. Confirm the Default Account Access field is set to File Returns and Make Payments. If a different value is shown, click it, set the access type to File Returns and Make Payments, then click Save

  9. Click the Add link above the right part of the Logons grid

  10. Review the information that displays, then click Next

  11. Enter the TAP Logon: SalsaSoftware

  12. Click Add/Edit Account Access

  13. Select the Wage Withholding account type, then click OK

  14. Click Submit

Required for Tax Setup

  1. Unemployment Insurance Account Number (8 digits, e.g., 12345678)

  2. Unemployment Insurance Total Tax Rate (X.XX%)

Third Party Administrator (TPA) Access

DaySmart Payroll needs granted TPA access to pay and file this tax. Follow the instructions below to ensure there are no delays in processing:

  1. Click the Employer Login button

  2. Enter your User ID and Password, then click Login

  3. On the Employer Home page, click the Account Maintenance link

  4. Click the Third Party Administrator (TPA) Authorization link

  5. Click New

  6. Enter 500003515 as the TPA ID, then click Next

  7. Enter the start date for services and select the checkbox for each service to authorize, including Employment and Wage Detail Update and Submit to allow e-filing of quarterly contribution and wage reports

  8. Click Save
