USDT Restrictions

As part of our compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, which has been in effect since December 30, 2024, we have implemented changes to how USDT is handled on our platform.

What is changing?

Starting on January 27, 2025, you will no longer be able to:

  • Onramp (purchase) USDT on our platform.

  • Offramp (redeem) USDT into fiat or other assets.

  • Swap USDT for other cryptocurrencies

However, you will still be able to:

  • Send USDT to external wallets or platforms.

  • Receive USDT from external wallets or platforms.

What should you do?

We encourage you to take the following actions before January 27, 2025:

  • If you hold USDT on our platform, consider converting it to other supported assets or withdrawing it to an external wallet.

  • Plan your transactions accordingly, as USDT redemption and swaps will no longer be available after the deadline.

Why is this happening?

Redeeming tokens like USDT into regulated assets (e.g., EURs) has become a regulated activity under MiCA. To ensure compliance and maintain the highest standards of transparency, we are adjusting our platform’s capabilities.

What happens next?

After January 27, 2025, USDT holdings will remain accessible for sending and receiving but will not be eligible for onramp, offramp, or swaps.
