Instead of replying publicly, store owners can reply privately to store reviews. This is an opportunity to be empathetic to customers and to resolve any issues or misunderstandings, thank reviewers, or request review updates.
Unlike public replies that are published on the product page, replying to reviews by email remains private.
How to Reply Privately to Store Reviews?
STEP 1
Navigate to Manage Reviews, then click on Reviews.
STEP 2
Find the specific review you want to reply to, click on the ellipsis (⋮) icon, and select Reply.
STEP 3
Under the reply settings, select 'Privately' if you want your response to be visible only to the reviewer. Then, write your reply in the provided text box.
STEP 4
Click Send.
