I want you to be able to start using Reminders right away, so all you have to do is turn them on.

I've created a Default Appointment Reminder sequence of text messages, emails, and call notifications that have been pre-made, and produce results!

However, this sequence is generic - I definitely suggest personalizing it, or better yet - create your own custom sequences!

To view and edit the default appointment reminder sequence click Settings >> Ava's Communication >> Ava's Lead-Up >> Default Appointment Reminder:

(Click photo to enlarge it in the article. If viewing in the messenger, right-click >> "Open Image in a new tab" for full size)

This will open the sequence and all of the messages in it:

Here are all of the options you have to edit and customize the sequence:

Spanish: You can view and edit the Spanish version of this sequence by clicking the toggle to switch between English and Spanish.

You can change individuals' language preferences in their details.

Child Sequence: You can switch between the Adult and Child sequence templates. The child sequence addresses the responsible party instead of the patient:

Day and Time: If you want to change the default day and time any message is sent out, do so here!

In this example, patients will receive this message 1 day before their appointment, at 1:00pm:

Messages will automatically rearrange to be in order if you change them.

Merge Fields: You can drag and drop these personal info place holders into your messages - when sent, I will autofill them with information from your PMs.

For example, if a message has the field [[Patient's First Name]] in it, when I send the message I'll automatically insert the patient's first name in their message!

Templates: Click the yellow icon to open and insert any templates you've created:

Text vs. Email: All of my default sequences are comprised of both texts and emails because not all patients have both types of contact info on file.

You can't switch an email into a text, but you can "Add Content" and create another custom message:

You can delete any messages by clicking the trash icon:
