One of the most critical things is making sure patients don't forget their appointments!

There are a lot of appointment reminder services out there, but mine is the only one that fully integrates with my desk πŸ˜‰

Turn them on for a seamless experience from reminders to follow up, and to have a record of all communication with your patients in one place!

I've made this as easy as possible for you - basically, all you have to do is turn reminders on, and I'll do the rest!

I have 2 types of communication (Settings >> Ava's Communication), Follow Up and Lead Up (this is where you'll find Appointment Reminders):

Appointment Reminder Settings:

Once you've clicked in to Lead Up, you'll land on the reminders tab (New Patient Welcome and NP Forms are New Patient Tracker sequences):

There 4 options to be aware of on this page:

  1. The default team member you want reminders to be sent from

  2. Default Appointment Reminder sequence (click to open)

  3. On toggle (the blue toggle next to "Default Appointment Reminder" indicates that this reminder sequence is active (click it to turn this sequence off)

However, in order for me to know who to actually put in a sequence, you need to click into the default sequence (or any custom sequence titles you've created) and select at least 1 treatment status:

That way, anyone who has that type of status and a scheduled appointment will receive these reminders.

View Scheduled Messages

Once you've turned a sequence on, you can view the exact messages any individual patient is scheduled to receive.

Open a patient's Messaging Modal and click the red Future button and you'll see all future scheduled messages:

Stop a Reminder From Being Sent:

There may be cases where you don't want a patient to receive an appointment reminder, but you don't want to turn them off for everyone.

Open that patient's Details - there will be a red "Stop Reminders" button next to any future appointment that qualifies for Appointment Reminders:
