Milestone 1 - Order a recommended microphone - Bola Voice Recommended Microphones
Milestone 2 - Make sure mics are on site, install Bola, test the mic in Dentrix by saying the measurements into the perio chart
Select the most distal buccas site of the first tooth to begin charting
Once your mic is red, you're able to begin charting
3. Milestone 3 - Access our training platform from the Bola Voice Assistant homepage by selecting "Options>Training Platform"

What is the Quick-View Box?
The quick view box on Bola Voice Assistant gives users insight to usability fixes and command errors. Messages that hover over the Bola microphone are intended to assist users in quickly fixing errors or provide general guidance.
Does Bola understand accents?
Yes, Bola understands accents and different speech styles (understands foreign and domestic speech styles). Bola is also an AI tool, so it learns as it goes.

Where do I find the download?
Your office will receive a Welcome Email containing a link to your Bola Voice Assistant app. A Bola representative will assist your users with installing the Bola app onto your operatories.
What is an Office Key and where can I locate it?
An Office Key is the passcode that you use to activate Bola AI software. We recommend saving the office key to your computer so you can have it to refer back to if you ever need to. Each office is assigned an office key. If at any time you can’t locate your office key in the welcome email from Henry Schein, they can provide you with your unique office key via email. If this continues to happen, please contact support by navigating to “Support” then “Contact Us”
Can I use any mic with Bola?
No. For best results and to avoid technical issues, we recommend three microphones that work well in all dental settings.
How many computers can one office key work on?
A license key can be used on the allotted amount of operatories agreed upon in your office's service agreement. Generally about six (6)
How do custom settings in Dentrix affect voice perio?
Using custom preferences in Dentrix while using Bola can create inaccuracies when charting. It is paramount to choose the Bola Migration Path script in Dentrix.
