When launching Bola AI’s desktop app alongside your EHR, your computer or network may not recognize the app and block it.
The steps below outline two different solution paths to resolve this problem so you can start using Bola AI’s desktop app right away.
Microsoft’s Security Defender SmartScreen is Blocking the Installation of the Bola Desktop App
When installing the Bola app, you will want to pay attention to the download tab in your browser. If you see a warning symbol, this is an indication that SmartScreen may be blocking the installation.
An example:
Clicking on the download and then on Show more will give you the option to Report this app as safe
Report the app as safe so over time Microsoft does not block Bola’s desktop app
Then, click on Keep anyway to proceed with downloading the Bola app
Windows Enterprise Security Blocking Bola’s Desktop App
Windows Security may be the culprit if Bola’s desktop app is blocked on your Windows-based machine. Windows Security may proactively block Bola AI due to it viewing Bola as an unrecognized app downloaded from the internet.
