Steps
Go to the Specs tab
Highlight the specs you want to update (or use filters to select)
Click the Areas button
Choose an action:
Add: Add an area from your project's area list
Reassign: Remove existing area and assign a new one
Remove All: Clear all area assignments from selected specs
If adding/reassigning, select the area
Set the quantity and unit
Click Apply
Example
Assigning 3 items each to "Double King West":
Highlight specs
Click Areas → Add
Select "Double King West"
Enter quantity: 3
Select unit: Each
Apply
Tips
Use filters to quickly select specs by type, category, or current area
Reassign is useful when moving specs from one area to another
Always specify the unit for accurate calculations
